Who your recovery advocate is, and isn’t
Every person we help gets this in writing. It is short on purpose.
Your recovery advocate is someone who has been through this themselves. They are not a doctor, a psychotherapist or a lawyer.
They work under Still Standing’s oversight and direction.
They never diagnose anything or decide what kind of care you need. A clinician does that with you.
They find the help, work out what it costs you, and set it up. You decide.
Questions or a complaint: reply to your advocate, or write to hello@stillstandingrecovery.org.
